Ayers Rock, Australia
Ayers Rock (Uluru) at sunrise.
If you get the chance, visit the rock at this time as then, you’ll be able to see the saturated red/orange tones you have come to expect from it. Later in the day, the colours change completely.

La fontaine Stravinsky

Next to the Centre Georges ompidou in Paris, on Place Igor Stravinsky, there is a small fountain with sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely.
Everything is in movement and Tinguely’s black, rather technical scupltures compliment Niki de Saint Phalle’s colourful organic creatures surprosingly well.
In the foreground, you see “Le Chapeau” (the hat), and Le coeur (the heart), in the background the “L’oiseau de feu” (the firebird) statue by Niki de Saint Phalle and “La vie” (life) and “la musique” (Music) by Jean Tinguely.

Loch Morlich in the evening
Loch Morlich in the Cairngorm National Park is a good place for active people. There are many good walking and hiking opportunities, as well as many options for all sorts of watersports and ther even is a herd of reindeer and a Reindeer centre!
